 Eyeliner Colour Correction

Eyeliner color fluctuations can result from various factors, such as excessively deep or outdated eyeliner applications. At Brow & Beauty Boutique, we specialize in correcting these color shifts. As the PMU industry quickly grows, so does the likelihood of potential clients needing color-correction experts to tend to their correction needs.

Our seasoned artists meticulously assess your natural skin tone, dermal thickness, and eyelid skin health. This thorough evaluation allows us to recommend the most effective and tailored color correction procedure for you.

From day 1 as a PMU artist, one of the most important skills that we need to acquire is understanding eyebrow colours/pigments combination.

Why Eyebrows Can Shift Color Over Time

  • Brown for eyelids is a mix of red, blue/black, and yellow. However, the balance of these colors can change over time, depending on the quality, lightfast rating, and type of pigment used. Imbalance left by previous applications can lead to undesired dominant residual hues like red, grey, or blue.

  • Clients with a warm undertone tend to enhance the warm tones of a pigment more than those with a cool undertone. If you apply a warm pigment to someone with a warm undertone, the color will heal much warmer than if you use a cool pigment on someone with a cool undertone.

**During the consultation, we ensure a precise understanding of the pigment undertone you've been using. This knowledge allows us to provide tailored solutions for your color correction needs.

With that, we have this service which is alongside Eyebrow Removal. This is very different from Eyebrow Removal method which is an embroidery removal method but does not necessarily able to remove eyeliner embroidery. For eyeliner correction, we will usually tone up the colour to make it a warmer colour so it will be ‘soft looking’ & blends perfectly with your skin. This method does not remove the previous embroidery completely but lightens it.

Most of the customers will only require 𝟭 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 to see results or completely dilute the colour but there are some cases where 2 sessions are needed depending on the customer’s skin. Using alteration/mixing of pigments which is also a similar procedure as getting the right colour in any embroidery to make sure it looks natural, not too ‘bold’.
