TYPES OF EYEBROWS

Microblading Wildstroke

Microblading Wildstroke - Using fine-lining strokes to add depth and volume, this technique achieves a natural look through various brush strokes, blending seamlessly with your existing eyebrows. The ultra-fine 0.18 cm tiny needles create the thinnest lines possible, mimicking your own eyebrow hairs for an incredibly natural effect.

Ideal for clients with sparse, thin, or scattered brows, Microblading provides a fuller and expertly crafted brow enhancement.

Misty

Misty  - This technique uses pixelated dots to replicate the look of powder-filled brows, creating a soft and natural appearance with a gentle front and outline. It offers a range of pigment shades, from the lightest to the darkest tones, ensuring a beautifully soft and powder-filled brow.

Misty Powder Effect Brows are perfect for those looking to enhance their natural color or shape.

Hybrid

Hybrid Brows (Microblading + Misty) - This technique combines the softness of microblading strokes with the refinement of shading from micro-pigmentation. It's highly recommended for individuals with oily skin, excessive perspiration, or those seeking a beautifully filled-in appearance.

Hybrid brows offer a fuller and well-defined look, making them an excellent choice for those with oily skin, sparse brows, or a desire for fuller coverage.

Men’s Embroidery

Men often have thicker, wider, and coarser eyebrows, and our approach acknowledges these differences. We typically recommend Hybrid Embroidery, a versatile solution suitable for both men and women with thin or sparse brows. It's perfect for those seeking a brow redesign, adding natural-looking hair strokes to fill gaps, increasing volume, and enhancing brow texture.

HEALING

Over the next 7 to 14 days, you may experience the following after-effects:

  • Tenderness

  • Dryness and itchiness

  • Mild swelling

  • Slight Redness

These post-procedure effects vary depending on your skin’s sensitivity

In the first 1 to 2 days following your eyebrow embroidery, expect your brows to appear noticeably darker, with the area feeling soft and tender. In most instances, the underlying skin will continue to be slightly red, which can cause the site to look darker.

Next, on the third day onwards, dryness and itchiness will set in accompanied by scabbing.

Typically, within the initial 7 to 14 days, the color may fade by around 30-50%. The extent of fading varies based on factors like pigment depth, skin type, and sun exposure. After scabbing subsides, expect your brows to take on a softer, more natural appearance.

Colour will finally settle in around 1-2 months, remember to make an appointment with your brow artist for touch-ups during this period if colour retention is not to your liking

TREATMENT TIME

First time appointments: 2 hours

Touch up appointments: 1 hour

LONG TERM CARE
  • Sun exposure can cause fading and damage to the pigment. Limit your time under the sun to preserve the color's longevity.

  • Avoid applying sunscreen and foundation directly onto your brows to prevent a potential bluish tint. If you have accidentally applied sunscreen or foundation, use a clean cotton pad or swab to delicately remove the product.

  • Some skincare products and treatments, such as chemical peels and exfoliants, can cause the pigment to fade faster.

  • Activities like swimming in chlorinated pools or frequent sauna use may impact the duration of your eyebrow embroidery. Exercise caution and consider protective measures when necessary.

  • Eyebrow embroidery is a semi-permanent procedure, and over time, pigment fading is natural. To keep your brows looking their best, book touch-up sessions with your artist as advised, usually every 6-9 months, to retain the desired shape and colour.

In countries with a colder climate, Misty/Ombre Brows and Hybrid Brows will last between 2-3 years on average with a colour refresh in between. Microblading, on the other hand will last between 1.5-2 years on average. However, due to the nature of our climate in Singapore, we observed there is a general reduction of 6 months in colour retention. Thus, we would usually recommend customers to come for a colour refresh after the first six months. Ultimately this serves only as a general guide and how long will the eyebrow embroidery last also depends mainly on the following:

* quality of pigment used

* depth of micro-pigments

* lifestyle

* skincare regimes

* overexposure to sunlight

* constant skin exfoliation

* oil control skincare products

  • Yes, it will gradually fade over time if there are no regular touch-ups as pigments used in eyebrow embroidery are semi-permanent in nature. Over time, the pigment will be broken down.

    Deposition of pigments into the skin usually results in the pigments entering the dermis of the skin. During the healing phase of eyebrow embroidery, our body defensive system will treat this pigments as “foreign invaders”. It will start to build a wall” to surround them, with the intention to protect the body from harm.

  • Eyebrow Tattooing is a brow technique that permanently embeds ink deep below the surface of your skin. Eyebrow Embroidery, on the other hand, is semi-permanent and pigments are only added to the most superficial layer of your skin, with minimal pain. Eyebrow tattoos are generally not recommended due to a comparably higher possibility of allergic reactions as the ink is deposited deeper below the skin’s dermis layer and an unnatural green discoloration in the eyebrows will surface over time.

  • ouch-up session is required & 1 complimentary will be given for first-time client. The touch-up is best done within 6-8 weeks from the first session to attain best effect.

  • Unfortunately, since Microblading & Hybrid punctures the skin with tiny needles, there is a risk for people that are prone to keloids to heal with keloids scaring.

    Powder technique like Misty on the other hand is suggested as an alternative method as it does not puncture too deep and is more gentle on the skin. Our experienced artists will also discuss with you the desired colour so as to not comprimise the final look that you want to achieve.
