Lip Enhancement Embroidery

Lip enhancement is a lip embroidery procedure carefully tailored to correct the natural pigmentation of melanin-rich (dark) lips. We employ specialised techniques that delicately neutralise lip darkness while placing a premium on minimising any potential trauma and ensuring optimal lip health.

The process of working on darker lips is distinct due to their thicker skin compared to lighter-toned lips. Our approach commences with undertone neutralisation, offering us an opportunity to observe the healing progress before proceeding to attain the desired shade.
Our lip enhancement procedure accentuates the intensity of your lips makes them look fuller, younger, and more symmetrical.

It is also referred to as “lip micro-pigmentation”, “lip micro-blading”, and “lip blush”, among many, but they all refer to the same process.

Before Lip Enhancement - Lips were uneven, and dull

After Lip Enhancement - Lips are now full, vibrant and rich

It's essential to recognise that each individual's healing process is unique, and the desired result might not be achieved after the first session. Typically lip neutralisation requires 2-3 sessions for an ideal outcome, patience and careful consideration is crucial.

Customised Colour Palette

By employing a customised colour palette, we blend multiple pigments based on precise colour analysis. This blending technique results in a harmonious shade that effectively counteracts any dullness, unevenness and discolourations in the client's lip and creates an enhanced yet entirely natural look.

Lip Blush or Lip Enhancement?

Lip blush is a procedure that improves your lips shape & colour. Deepening the colour of your lips, creating a fuller, healthier look. The intensity of your lips can be customised to your preference.

However, lip enhancement is recommended if you have dark lips, unsymmetrical or dry lips. Different tools & pigments will be required according to your needs to provide a brighter and enhanced lip.

COMMON QUESTIONS (FAQ)

  • As new techniques emerged, some things differentiate lip embroidery in Singapore compared to tradition lip tattoo procedures. First, a traditional tattoo takes the needle deep into the lips, while lip embroidery focuses on the surface of the lips. This makes the latter less prone to infections. Second is that lip embroidery uses specialized “synthetic-organic micro-pigments”, used explicitly for the lips, while standard ink tattoo, containing Carbon, is used for traditional lip tattoos.

  • Anybody and everybody!

Lip embroidery is for everyone looking to enhance their natural lip shape and definition, boost the color and lustre of their lips and foremost bring symmetry to their uneven lips.

    ✔️ Too dark/Too pale

    ✔️ Aspired for natural look

    ✔️ Asymmetrical

✔️ Uneven or discolouring coat done previously by other embroidery artists

✔️Tired of touching up lips after meals

    ✔️Smokers with darkened lips

Lips Embroidery is great for anyone who had always wanted to enhance or balance their existing lips colour. Not forgetting the one who had always wanted the look of rosy smooth, soft and kissable lips!

  • Generally, anyone that has a problem with their lip colour may opt to have lip embroidery in Singapore. If your lips are too pale or have asymmetrical and unbalanced lip colour, you can go and try this procedure. Being tired of continually touching up your lips is also a good enough reason to have lip embroidery.

  • If you have any of the following conditions, you may not be a suitable candidate for Lip Embroidery:

    • Diabetes

    • Presence of lip Keloids

    • Pregnant

    • Heart Complications

  • It is not a hidden fact that Lips are the most sensitive part of our body. Therefore, there will be some kind of swelling and a sore feeling right after the treatment which starts to go down in the couple following days to the treatment. The color will look more dark and intense in the first 48 hours too but the good news is that lips start to peel way faster than eyebrows. Thus, it is recommended to book your lip embroidery appointment on a weekend eve to give yourself 1-2 days to be settled down.

Do not freak out by the initial darker than expected colour and the extremely dry lips that you will get right after the lip embroidery. The actual colour will reveal itself after the dead skin flakes off from the lips. This will give you tender, natural, soft pink lips in just a few days. Try not to peel the dead skin off and allow it to gently fall off by itself. During the healing process, apply moisturizing lip balm.

  • No smoking while lips are healing (10 days minimum). No kissing, rubbing or friction on your newly tattooed lips until after 10 days or you may lose pigment.

    ## If i have keloid, can i proceed?

The answer would be no. Since permanent makeup punctures the skin, there is always a risk for people that are prone to keloids to heal with keloids scaring.

When the skin is broken by a cut, bite, scratch, burn, acne or piercing – the body produces a protein called collagen. Collagen gathers around damaged skin and builds up to help the wound seal over. The resulting scar usually fades over time, becoming smoother and less noticeable. But some scars don't stop growing, invading healthy skin and becoming bigger than the original wound. These are known as Keloid scars.

  • If you have any history of cold sores, fever blisters, caused by virus herpes simplex, you should contact your physician to obtain and take the proper prescription medication to prevent such outbreaks.

It is often recommended to take medicine for at least 3 days before and after the procedure. If you suffer cold sores more often you can consider longer treatment.

If you have serious cold sore condition, it is recommended to not proceed with the procedure as the colour will be affected due to the reaction of your skin.

  • Lipsticks are actually bad for your lips and your health. The pigments in lipsticks increase the lead level of your lips which can cause serious health implications such as a higher risk of CANCER.

Lips embroidery is a healthier option as it is done using bio compatible chemicals, which means it is not harmful nor toxic to the human tissues. Viruses can survive weeks on lipsticks because of the waxes and proteins in them.

Lip embroidery is done with the help of a machine and a needle at the tip. Each needle is single-use and sterilised for every customer so each appointment is hygienic and safe.

  • The process is almost painless. Our artist will ensure the anesthetic cream applied takes effect before proceeding with the lip embroidery. Do immediately inform our artist if you feel any form of discomfort.
